One of the many things I love about Austria is its location. After a two hour train ride we got to Munich and walked around the town center. I got to go to the opening day of OKTOBERFEST so you can imagine how chaotic everything was. Once the city tour ended, a group of friends and I headed over to the festival. We tried to get into a few beer tents but it was ridiculously impossible since everything was packed. We walked around for a while, got a few pastries, and then headed out to a local restaurant/bar and got food and a liter of beer to keep the OKTOBERFEST spirit alive. Although we weren't able to get into a beer tent it was still such an awesome experience to have been there!
